Dog Daycare Manager - The Country Canine Retreat

The Country Canine is looking for an enthusiastic Dog Daycare Manager to join our growing business as we expand into a brand-new Dog Hotel and Hydro Pool.

We're a small, passionate team providing exceptional care and enrichment for up to 16 dogs (may increase) in a beautiful rural setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves the outdoors, enjoys working with animals, and wants to be part of an exciting new chapter in our story.

The Role

As Dog Daycare Manager, you'll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of our daycare and ensuring every dog in our care has a safe, stimulating, and happy experience.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Providing enrichment and setting up fun, stimulating activities for the dogs Exercising and supervising dogs in group and individual settings Communicating with customers and maintaining strong relationships Updating online dog profiles and sharing photos of the dogs enjoying their day Overseeing general care and welfare of all dogs in attendance Ensuring the daycare and surrounding areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe
You'll work closely with our small, friendly team and play a key role in helping shape our expansion in our Hydro Pool.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Has a qualification in animal care or dog behaviour/care Experienced in dog care, daycare, or animal management (experience leading a team a bonus) Confident handling dogs of all breeds and temperaments Passionate about animal welfare and enrichment Organised, reliable, and able to work independently with good timekeeping skills Friendly, approachable, and great with both people and dogs Happy working outdoors environment all year round Driving licence required (due to location) Enjoy drinking tea and biscuits a bonus!
