We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. You will work closely with pet owners to understand their needs and preferences, while also maintaining a clean and safe environment for both pets and staff.
Duties
Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling according to breed standards and client specifications.
Ensure the health and safety of all animals in your care by monitoring their behaviour and condition during grooming sessions.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding grooming options, pet care advice, and any concerns that may arise.
Maintain cleanliness in the grooming area by regularly cleaning tools, equipment, and workspaces to meet hygiene standards.
Assist in lifting and handling larger or heavier animals safely during grooming procedures.
Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques and trends to provide the best service possible.
Qualifications
A minimum 2 year salon experience is required.
Strong knowledge of animal care practices and behaviour is highly advantageous.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with pet owners.
Capability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or equipment.

You will be joining a team who care passionately about the animals in their care and giving the best customer experience. We take time over grooms, don't use cage driers and don't work with overly aggressive dogs.
