About the role:

Full-time and part-time roles available. Required working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm.

As a Dog Groomer at Groom Guru, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional grooming services and creating a positive experience for both dogs and their owners. Responsibilities will vary based on experience. We're looking for motivated, compassionate professionals who align with our mission and values.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and interacting with dog owners. Consult with dog owners to determine their specific grooming needs and preferences. Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets' fur. Trim pets' nails and hygiene areas, and clean their ears. Ensure that the safety and wellbeing of pets is always a priority throughout the whole customer experience. Keep the salon clean and tidy, in accordance with the highest health and safety standards. Complete administrative duties as necessary, such as post-grooming reports and stock check.

Role requirements:

Level 3 City & Guild qualification. Minimum 2 years' experience as a professional dog groomer. Able to groom a wide variety of breeds. Possess excellent listening and communication skills, with high level of fluency in English. Able to work well in a team and independently. Able to complete at least 3 full grooms from start to finish per day. First aid for pets certification is preferred.
