Noah's Ark Environmental Services provides Dog Warden services for a number of Local Authorities throughout the UK. We are looking for a confident, proactive individual with the ability to handle an extremely varied role with both night and day shifts and long distance driving. This position is perfect for someone looking to link their love of dogs and animal welfare with their love of driving.

Responsibilities

Dog Handler/driver for stray dog collection

Carry out ad hoc support functions

Opportunity to get involved with the re-homing process of stray dogs.

Dealing with queries via email and telephone

General computer skills needed

Handling all sizes of dogs

Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Experience in dog handling would be an advantage

Full clean driving license

Attention to detail

Able to work a varied shift pattern

A team player

Strong organisational skills

Self-reliant and able to work alone

Ability to prioritise your own workload and remain calm under pressure

All employees are DBS checked, which will be paid for by employer

Shift work - varying - weekend - day - night shifts - based from home
