Job Description

:
We are currently looking for someone to join our team initially on Wednesday and Thursday for around 5 hours per week, with the potential for more hours over time and to provide cover for holidays and staff illness . This is a part-time, flexible role ideal for animal lovers who enjoy spending time outdoors.

As a dog walker, you will be responsible for ensuring dogs get their much-needed exercise while keeping them safe and happy during walks. Initially, you'll start with solo walks, but after gaining experience, you'll manage up to 3 dogs at a time. No prior experience is necessary, though having experience as a dog walker or pet owner is a bonus.

Location

:

Covering areas in GU15 (Camberley, Old Dean), GU16 (Frimley), GU18 (Lightwater), GU19 (Bagshot), GU20 (Windlesham), and GU24 (Bisley, Donkey Town, West End).

Responsibilities

:

Walk dogs in designated areas. Feed, clean, and administer medication to dogs as required. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of the dogs during walks. Follow specific care instructions provided by dog owners. Transport dogs to the vet in case of emergencies. Maintain clear communication with the business to relay onto customers.

Requirements

:

Availability between hours of 9 am-3 pm, with approximately 3-5 hours per week to start. Comfortable walking multiple dogs (up to 3) after the initial training period. Must have a full UK driving license and access to a car for traveling within the covered area and to vets when necessary. Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to handle different dog sizes and breeds. Willingness to undergo a basic DBS check (successful candidates only).
