Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a care home or similar environment, demonstrating a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organisation in domestic settings. This role is essential in ensuring that households run smoothly and efficiently, providing support with various domestic tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform general housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain a tidy environment. Organise and manage household supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and readily available. Assist with laundry duties, including washing, ironing, and folding clothes. Maintain an inventory of household items and report any maintenance issues promptly. Ensure all areas of the home are safe and welcoming for residents and guests.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home or domestic setting is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when required. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills. Flexibility in working hours may be necessary.
