Job Description

We are seeking an additional domestic/laundry assistant, who is a talented and caring individual, who has an eye for detail.

Shift pattern:

Week 1 (Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday)

Week 2 (Wednesday, Thursday & Friday) (7 shifts per fortnight)

8.30am - 1.30pm, can be slightly flexible with start times (5 hr shifts)

As a domestic/laundry assistant, your main responsibilities are to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness in the home, ensuring our residents bedrooms are clean, safe, and tidy. Your duties will include cleaning residents bedrooms (15), cleaning en-suites, hallways and attending to laundry duties, which includes washing, drying of any laundry whilst on shift and ironing any bedding, as per the cleaning schedule provided by management team.

All domestics are required to be able to communicate effectively and work as a part of a team, you must also be able to work off your own initiative. You are required to have a strong attention to detail and be dignified and respectful toward our residents at all times. All staff must uphold confidentiality at all times. We offer a full Induction and training programme, after training you must be able to demonstrate an understanding of COSHH, health and safety procedures and infection and control.
