Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Domestic and Laundry Assistant to provide high-quality cleaning service within our beautiful new care home. The successful candidate will ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents, visitors and staff. Previous hotel or care home experience is desirable, as it reflects a background in delivering exceptional standards of cleanliness, infection control and customer service. Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, communal spaces, and corridors Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of hygiene Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials as needed Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly Follow health and safety and infection control procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment Maintain organised storage of cleaning equipment and supplies Assist with laundry duties when required Adhere to company policies on confidentiality and security

Skills

Previous care home or hospitality experience is highly advantageous Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively Strong communication skills Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards and safety protocols
