Here at Strong Life Care believe that every life is worth celebrating. We have a dedicated team who support our residents with their daily living activities including cleaning and laundry. We are seeking a confident person who is committed and efficient in providing Domestic and Laundry services for our residents at The Beeches. This person must be confident and able to follow agreed standards, legislative requirements including COSHH, relevant regulations and following best practices at all times. Experience in residential home cleaning or similar environments is highly desirable but not necessary for the success of this position.

Responsibilities and Duties

Clean and maintain the home which includes residents bedrooms, corridors, public areas and bathroom facilities. Perform general housekeeping tasks such as dusting, hoovering, mopping and wiping down surfaces. Supporting the Head Housekeeper with inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment needs. Respond promptly to resident's requests for additional services or assistance. Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained in good working condition. Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and residents personal clothing. Adhere to health and safety regulations and follow the homes cleaning procedures Support with Infection Prevention Control Inspections.

Requirements

Previous experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is preferred but not vital Strong attention to detail To have a friendly and approachable demeanour Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

Pay: 12.23 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 36 per week
