: Domestic Appliance Cleaning/ Warehouse Technician

Hours

: 37.5 hrs per week - Flexible working hours available for the right candidate

Salary

: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.

Location

: Primary place of work will be in Llandudno Junction, however work is based at any property or location in the ownership of Crest.

Term

: Permanent (6-month probationary period)

We work closely with local partners and the broader community to repurpose pre-loved electrical goods, furniture, household items, and clothing, making them available in our community stores. Currently, Crest operates four vibrant community retail stores in Llandudno, Llandudno Junction, Colwyn Bay, and Rhyl, alongside a dedicated reuse and recycling hub in Llandudno Junction.

Who we are looking for:

To ensure all white goods (e.g., washing machines, fridges, freezers, cookers) are thoroughly cleaned to a high standard before resale or redistribution. The role contributes to the reuse and recycling ethos of the Crest Co-Operative Limited by preparing items for safe and hygienic re-use by individuals and families in need.

To process all white goods/electrical appliances arriving into and out of the Re-Use Hub, and to identify items fit for re-use and prepare for re-sale. Meet the relevant quality standard, ensuring work is carried out within agreed targets and timescales.

This work is very physical, requiring regular lifting and requires the operation of hand, power tools and general plant.
