Red Owl Construction is a family-run construction company based in Southampton and covering the surrounding areas. We specialise in high-end residential projects, including new builds, extensions, loft conversions, renovations and property maintenance.

About the Role

Due to continued growth, we're seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. This position is initially for around 2 months, but could lead to something long term for the right person.

You'll work across various projects and play a key role in ensuring building works run smoothly and efficiently. You will be undertaking various carpentry tasks found within domestic building projects.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will undertake:

Handle carpentry tasks including fitting doors, skirting boards, architrave, and kitchen installations Support general building work as required Assist in site setup and clean-up each day Prepare and move materials as needed Maintain a clean and tidy worksite Care for tools and equipment Represent the business professionally at all times

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience with domestic carpentry tasks Your own tools A proactive approach and willingness to learn Good communication skills Ability to work independently and follow direction Access to your own transport

Details

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Pay: 15-21.00 per hour depending on experience Location: Winchester, Southampton and surrounding areas
