AT WELL POLISHED WE WILL MATCH OUR CLEANERS WITH CLIENTS WHO ARE LOOKING FOR A DOMESTIC CLEANING SERVICE.

YOU WILL:

BE PAID A MINIMUM OF 14 P/H AS A DOMESTIC CLEANER

PICK THE DAYS & TIMES YOU WORK BE CLEANING PRIVATE HOMES WEEKLY/ FORTNIGHTLY HAVE REGULAR CLIENTS THAT YOU WILL GET TO KNOW BE SELF EMPLOYED SO HAVE THE FLEXIBILITY OF MANAGING YOUR OWN DIARY HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY FOR REGULAR OVER TIME

As a cleaner for our clients, you are classed as self-employed. If you are not already registered as self-employed, you will need to do so. There are many benefits to registering for self-employment such as:

Despite being responsible for paying your own income tax, there are special tax reliefs and allowances, which self-employed people can claim. The standard Personal Allowance for income tax is 12,570 (2024/25) and that is the amount of income you can earn without having to pay tax. Once registered as self-employed, you can claim back certain expenses including travel costs / parking / repairs and servicing to your vehicle. Being self-employed means you are in control of your own working schedule.
As a self-employed person, you are responsible for your own tax and national insurance contributions. It could well be that you are not liable to make any contributions. This will depend on the number of hours that you work and the amount that you earn.
