Rotherham Hospital is currently seeking reliable and hardworking Domestic Cleaners to join our Facilities team. This vital role supports patient care and safety by ensuring high standards of cleanliness across infection control areas of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialist cleaning duties in designated infection control areas
Use appropriate cleaning materials and equipment safely and effectively
Work safely at height using step ladders, following health and safety guidelines
Maintain strict hygiene protocols to prevent cross-contamination
Accurately complete cleaning checklists and records
About You:
The successful candidate will:
Be able to work confidently and safely in infection control environments
Be physically able to perform cleaning duties, including using step ladders
Follow strict hygiene and infection prevention guidelines
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety
Requirements:
Previous cleaning experience is highly desirable - full training will be provided
Must be able to work in infection-controlled settings and use step ladders as part of the role
