Domestic Retrofit Assessor - Potential earning 60k+.

WWe have a fantastic opportunity for a candidate to join our team as a Retrofit Energy Assessor on a permanent basis. Enviro AC has secured guaranteed work throughout the UK on a continuous basis for the next 3-5 years so the role offers job security for the right candidate.

The candidate must be a currently active retrofit assessor and have knowledge and understanding of property construction. Having environmental health experience and working with local authorities, housing association, housing stock is preferred. This role is based in Hull but will involve periods working throughout the UK often for four days a week away. Please do not apply if you are unable to commit to this.

Our in-house team will book your appointments, you will need to be flexible to meet the requirements of contracts.

Requirements:

You will be responsible for providing expertise in retrofit, home energy efficiency and able to evaluate as well as recommend retrofit measures to improve the energy efficiency of properties. The role will include undertaking a Retrofit Assessment on properties for all relevant energy efficient measures as required. Such as: solar photovoltaics, cavity wall insulation, loft insulation and air source heat pumps. We will ask for previous survey examples.

Training:

You will be given advice and further training as required to become fully competent in,

Completing technical surveys on residential dwellings, examples of which include heating systems, external / internal cavity wall insulation, loft insulation & floor insulation. Understanding RdSAP methodology. Understanding PAS2035 and the Trustmark scheme. Being able to deliver Energy Performance Certificates. Being able to adequately complete the process of retrofit assessments.

Having a qualification in domestic energy assessment and retrofit assessment is mandatory. Only retrofit assessors with 1 years experience please feel free to contact us regarding this opportunity.

Your working hours will be 9am - 5pm from Monday to Friday (additional hours may be required for travel and work completion.) You will be expected to complete all work to the project timeframes and all work must be submitted following guidelines and expectations.

The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, hold a driving licence, basic IT skills are beneficial, a laptop, Ipad and galaxy device will be provided. You must have a 'Can-Do' attitude and be willing to go the extra mile to provide a positive customer experience. We are a small team that works together to help and benefit each other.

Pay: 30,000.00-60,000.00 per year
