Job Overview:
We are seeking a Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) to join our team in an office-based role. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the energy performance of domestic properties, ensuring compliance with the ECO4 scheme and relevant government grants.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct energy assessments for domestic properties, including data collection and analysis.
Prepare and produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and other necessary documentation.
Ensure all assessments comply with the ECO4 guidelines and local authority requirements.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather required information and provide guidance.
Stay up-to-date with changes in energy efficiency regulations and ensure compliance.
Provide recommendations for improving energy efficiency and reduce carbon footprint.
Requirements:
Qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) with relevant certification.
Experience in conducting energy assessments and producing EPCs.
Strong understanding of the ECO4 scheme and government grant requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
