Domestic Heating and Solar System Designer

ECO Providers Ltd are a Market Leading Company specialising in Energy Efficient Home Improvements. The business has grown significantly in the last 2 years providing Home Insulation, Heating Upgrades and Renewables.

Reporting to the Heating Manager, you will be responsible for interpreting data provided by surveyors. Leveraging your extensive knowledge of domestic central heating installation, you will prepare detailed installation plans and documents, as well as comprehensive materials lists.

This role is ideal for individuals with a

background in domestic heating installation

who have transitioned to an office environment, or for current installers seeking career advancement. Training will be provided for the right candidate, with opportunities for progression into heat pump system design.

Role Responsibilities:

Evaluate and interpret site survey data to produce detailed installation plans and notes for installers Create comprehensive lists of required equipment Assess and specify appropriate renewable technologies, components, and materials for each project. Utilise heat loss software to generate accurate building heat loss reports for sizing radiators and heat pump outputs. Use basic drawing software to annotate floor plans.

Requirements:

Extensive understanding of domestic heating system installation, preferably with hands-on installation experience. General knowledge of air source heat pumps and solar PV is advantageous. Strong proficiency in basic IT systems and software. Experience in heat pump system design is beneficial. Good understanding of unvented hot water systems and regulations. Solid knowledge of domestic gas installation regulations.
