Job Description

As a Care Assistant you will be responsible for

Assisting with personal care including washing, dressing, toileting and changing pads. Helping out with light house work including cleaning, ironing, vacuuming and dusting. Helping with meal preps, shopping, checking care plans. Safely administering medications. To assist with mobility including sara steady and hoists. To provide companionship or respite.
Embec Care is an award winning family owned home care agency situated in Mere Green. We provide care and support to individuals in Sutton Coldfield and surrounding areas. We prioritise person centered care, as a result we believe that all care should be delivered in line with the wishes of the individual, whilst maintaining safety and independence.

Qualifications

Valid driving licence with access to your own vehicle Experience in domiciliary or home care settings Ability to develop and implement care plans Strong communication skills in English Proficiency in IT for documentation and reporting Compassionate and patient approach to care Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

Working Hours

Weekend shifts available from 7am to 10pm

Previous experience isn't necessary as full training is provided.
