We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Worker to provide high-quality care to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans meticulously.

Responsibilities

Deliver personal care and support to clients in their homes, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Develop and maintain individual care plans tailored to each client's needs. Drive to clients' residences, ensuring punctuality and reliability in service delivery. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes, maintaining accurate records of care provided. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care. Assist clients with mobility and physical activities as required, promoting their independence. Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel. Uphold the dignity and respect of all clients while providing care in a professional manner.

Qualifications

Previous experience in home care or a related field is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with clients and their families. A valid driving licence is required for travel between client locations. Familiarity with care plans and the ability to implement them accurately is advantageous. A caring attitude with a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals in your care. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
