As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and dedicated support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of care services tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, in a home care setting. You will be instrumental in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Responsibilities
Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support individuals with mobility and transfers.
Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.
Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to relevant personnel.
Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
Skills
Proficiency in patient care techniques, including Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice care, and senior care.
Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols.
Strong caregiving skills with the ability to manage various needs effectively.
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and their families
