Duties



Provide tailored personal care to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Support clients with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping Encourage and promote independence while respecting each individual's preferences and dignity Monitor and report on clients' health status, noting any changes or concerns to relevant healthcare professionals Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any incidents or observations during visits Foster positive relationships through empathetic communication and active listening Assist with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment to ensure safety Promote social engagement by encouraging participation in hobbies and community activities when possible

Qualifications



Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others in their daily lives Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently while following care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals Basic understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to home care settings Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, or sleep-in duties if required Previous experience in domiciliary or personal care is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided Relevant certifications such as Moving & Handling or First Aid are desirable but not mandatory
