Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in various care settings, including senior care, hospice care, and childcare. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering companionship, personal care, and assistance with daily activities.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. Support clients with medication management and adherence to prescribed routines. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Implement behaviour management strategies as needed to ensure a safe environment. Drive clients to appointments or social outings as required. Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.

Qualifications

Previous experience in senior care, home care, nursing home settings, or hospice care is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with physical mobility tasks. Valid driving licence is an advantage for transporting clients. Knowledge of behaviour management techniques is beneficial. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Flexibility in working hours to meet the needs of clients is essential.
