Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated

Care Worker

to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in their homes or care settings. This role involves supporting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing, and promoting independence. If you have a caring nature, excellent communication skills, and relevant clinical care experience, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Support clients in following their care plans and maintaining their health and wellbeing Provide companionship and emotional support, creating a positive and trusting environment Help with meal preparation and ensure clients receive adequate nutrition Assist with mobility and physical activities, ensuring client safety at all times Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team Drive clients to appointments or social engagements when required Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the client's living space Carry out specialist care, including PEG feeding, stoma care, catheter care, and

tracheostomy care

in line with individual care plans and training

Skills & Requirements

Proficient in English, both spoken and written, for effective communication Experience in home care or residential care settings is desirable but not essential Ability to understand and implement person-centred care plans Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and families Basic IT skills to maintain records and communicate with the team A valid driving licence is preferred Mandatory training in PEG feeding, stoma care, catheter care, and

tracheostomy care

is required for this role
