This is a clinic-based role where patients are transported to our surgery as part of our domiciliary-focused service. It offers a highly rewarding opportunity for a dentist who values accessibility in dentistry and wants to improve oral health outcomes for elderly and vulnerable patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide routine and preventative dental care to patients brought to the clinic from care homes and supported living settings
Carry out examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning with sensitivity to patients' medical and personal needs
Work collaboratively with carers, families, and care home staff to ensure comfort and continuity of care
Maintain accurate, detailed clinical records in line with safeguarding, infection control, and health and safety standards
Support the practice in developing its domiciliary and accessibility-focused dental care services
Requirements:
GDC registration and right to work in the UK
Current professional indemnity cover
Experience with elderly or medically compromised patients is an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, professional, and patient-centred approach
