This role is clinic-based, with patients transported to our surgery as part of our domiciliary-focused service. It's an excellent opportunity for a dentist who is passionate about improving accessibility in dentistry and supporting elderly and vulnerable patients with dignity and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver routine and preventative dental care to patients brought to the clinic from care homes and assisted living facilities
Carry out examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning with consideration for patients' medical and personal needs
Collaborate effectively with carers, families, and care home staff to ensure continuity and quality of care
Keep detailed, accurate clinical records while adhering to safeguarding, infection control, and health and safety standards
Contribute to the ongoing development of the practice's domiciliary and accessibility-focused dental care service
Requirements:
GDC registration and right to work in the UK
Current professional indemnity cover
Previous experience working with elderly or medically compromised patients is advantageous
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A compassionate, professional, and patient-focused approach
