We are seeking an experienced and compassionate part time Domiciliary Registered Manager to lead and manage our domiciliary care service. The successful candidate will be registered with the CQC and responsible for the day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care is delivered to service users in their own homes in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies. This role is 3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day running of the domiciliary care service.
Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and standards.
Lead and support a team of care coordinators, supervisors, and care workers.
Recruit, train, and supervise care staff to ensure high performance.
Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and care reviews.
Maintain and improve quality assurance systems.
Liaise with service users, families, local authorities, and healthcare professionals.
Prepare and maintain accurate records, care plans, and documentation.
Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are effectively implemented.
Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and independence for all clients.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Minimum of 1 years' experience in a management or supervisory role within domiciliary care.
Registered (or eligible to register) with the Care Quality Commission as a Registered Manager.
In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations, Health and Social Care Act, and safeguarding practices.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage budgets, staff rosters, and care delivery systems.
Competency in using care management software and Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
Successful CQC inspections.
Driving license and access to a vehicle.
Experience in service development or business growth within the care sector.
