Our donation centre is very busy receiving donations for our shops and ecommerce team. The donation centre receives goods from personal donations, and donations from house clearance.

We are so lucky to receive such generous donations that we can then resell in our shops, online by our ecommerce team and where items are not resaleable, we have recycling options including selling for rags. Nothing that is donated is wasted.

This role will be sorting those items, finding the treasures, knowing what sells where, having an eye for fashion and preparing the items for resale. You will be working alongside and supporting a team of loyal volunteers. The role will put together the shop orders and meet the demands of the shops and ecommerce team. The role is manual and involves moving donations around our warehouse.

Experience

Fashion retail: 1 year (preferred)
Duties

Sort and categorise donations. Inspect items for quality control, identifying any defects or issues that require attention. Good communication with team members and volunteers. A team player. Working efficiently, with accuracy. Previous experience in a sorting or warehouse environment is advantageous, but not essential. Good physical fitness, as the role may require standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights. Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain focus on tasks.
