Overview

This project is covering North and Mid Wales on a long term contract, there may additional contracts across the UK.

It is open to individuals (Fully Employed) and subcontractors on a price per window basis.

L2 NVQ in fenestration installation and L2 NVQ in fenestration is required.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Window/Door Installer or subcontract team of 2 to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality workmanship and a keen eye for detail. As a Window/Door Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of windows and doors in residential and commercial properties, ensuring that all installations meet safety standards and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Ensure precise fitting of windows and doors. Install various types of windows and doors, including casement, sliding, and bi-fold systems. Inspect installed products for quality assurance and compliance with specifications. Remove old windows and doors while ensuring minimal disruption to the surrounding areas. Seal gaps and ensure proper insulation around installed products to enhance energy efficiency. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high standards of workmanship. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in window or door installation is required. Strong understanding of building codes and regulations related to window and door installations. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members. A valid driving license is required for travel between job sites. L2 NVQ in fenestration installation and L2 NVQ in fenestration
