Job Description

We are seeking reliable and motivated people to join our production team as Door Constructors (Assembly Operatives) within our Composite assembly area. This is a hands-on role where you'll be manufacturing high-quality specialist doors, ensuring standards of accuracy, safety, and quality are maintained throughout the process. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work flexibly to meet production demands.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble door components in line with specifications and quality standards Operate manufacturing machinery and hand tools (training provided) Carry out quality checks to ensure standards are of a high level Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environment Interpret technical drawings and follow manufacturing instructions Collaborate with colleagues across departments to meet production targets

About You

Background in a manufacturing or production environment (woodworking/metal working experience is an advantage, but not essential) Comfortable using tools and machinery (training provided) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills Good timekeeping and commitment to workplace safety

Additional Information

Full-time, permanent role based in Carlisle Monday to Friday working week You must have the right to work in the UK Role is subject to satisfactory DBS and reference checks Flexibility to work overtime may occasionally be required to support project deadlines
