We are seeking dedicated and professional Door Supervisors to join our security team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. This position requires a proactive approach to safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to any incidents that may arise.
Responsibilities
- Monitor entry and exit points to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the venue, observing for any suspicious behaviour, illegal activities or behaviour that could cause alarm, distress or inury to others.
- Deter crime and disorder to minimise theft and damage to property.
- Provide first aid assistance when required, ensuring the well-being of all guests and staff.
- Collaborate with local policing teams when necessary and prepare incident reports for management review.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with patrons, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and courteously.
- Enhance the customer experience at your venue by being a welcoming and reassuring presence.
- Use your skills, knowledge and experience to effectively respond to incidents and manage them in line with company policy and procedure.
Experience
- Previous experience in a security role is preferred, but not essential. We are able and willing to train staff new to the industry for this role. However, if you are new to security, previous experience in customer service is a must.
- Certification in first aid or equivalent training. (minimum EFAW)
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective reporting and interaction with others.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal reasoning and de-escalation skills.
-Willing to work evenings and weekends
- Willing to attend interview
- Willing to undertake additional screening and vetting in line with BS7858.
- Right to work in the UK
- Able to drive with own vehicle is an advantage as public transport options limited due shift times.
- Physically fit
- Smart and well presented
- Able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) in English.
