As a Door Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with licensing laws and regulations while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

Monitor the entrance and exit of the venue to ensure only authorised individuals gain access. Conduct thorough checks of identification to verify age and ensure compliance with legal requirements. Maintain order within the premises, addressing any disturbances or conflicts promptly and effectively. Collaborate with security personnel and management to implement safety protocols and emergency procedures. Provide assistance to patrons as needed, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while enforcing venue policies. Report any incidents or suspicious activity to management immediately, documenting occurrences as required. Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on security practices and legislation relevant to the role.

Requirements

Valid Door Supervisor licence is essential. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of people. Excellent observational skills and attention to detail. Capability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively. Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and manage potential conflicts if necessary.
