Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and leadership to ensure smooth operations Manage food production processes, ensuring efficiency and consistency in quality Oversee food safety practices, maintaining compliance with health regulations Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure timely serving of dishes Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Train new team members in food preparation, safety procedures, and service standards Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in a culinary role within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting Supervising experience is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations Excellent skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Good understanding of food production processes and hospitality operations Previous experience in food service or serving roles is advantageous A passion for culinary arts and delivering outstanding customer service

Pay: 13.50 per hour
