Dropex is a Dpd franchise and we are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our Dpd franchise team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility and excellent communication skills, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. This role requires a valid driving licence and may involve heavy lifting, so physical fitness is essential.

Responsibilities
Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
Load and unload items, including heavy lifting when necessary, while maintaining safety standards.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues.
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies in orders.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during the delivery process.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
A valid driver's licence is required; a commercial driving licence is advantageous.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during loading and unloading processes.
Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
A good understanding of road safety regulations and navigation skills.
Essential Requirements
Full UK Driving Licence (Clean licence preferred).
Age 25 (for insurance compliance).
Valid DBS Certificate (or willing to obtain one).
Right to Work in the UK.
