Last Mile Distribution Ltd is a high performing logistics company operating in Scotland and specialising in last mile delivery solutions.

We're looking for

reliable and experienced FULL TIME self employed courier drivers

who will thrive in a fast paced environment, to join our growing team.

Contract: DPD Location: Cambuslang, G32 8FA

3.5 Tonne LWB Routes Available:

Parcels up to 25kg Route Location: G & PA Postcodes

RATES: 1 per successful stop + 5p excess parcel rate

Pay every 4 weeks Avg stops: 100-150 per shift (once fully trained and can demonstrate capability of managing load, and being a reliable driver)

Fully insured diesel van

given with fuel card at no cost, for use during each shift + commuting (NOT FOR PERSONAL USE) Tue- Sat or Sun- Thurs shift pattern available

5-6 working days per week, 6 days during peak (4 week Christmas period)

Regular overtime available Shifts: 8-10 hours per day

Employment Status: Self Employed

Uniform Provided Paid training on the job

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Reliably confirming your route each morning prior to arrival at depot Reliably arriving at the depot by 8.30am Scanning, loading and organising your route and parcels onto your van Co-ordinating with line manager for sign out and any issues throughout the day Completing set route in a safe, orderly and timely matter (within 1 hour delivery window) Returning to depot for debrief and unloading any undelivered parcels

The ideal candidate will:

At least 6 months to 1 year demonstrable

experience in a similar role e.g. Amazon, Yodel, UPS, DX, or similar.

Have a professional manner, great customer service and communication skills Have a valid driver's license where details are up to date A clean driving record: Have no more than

6 points

on your driving license and

no DR, DG. CD or IN related endorsements

Be able to pass a basic disclosure check (one must be provided that is under 12 months old , or new application at a cost of 25 to the driver) Have a compatible phone to use with the DPD delivery app

Pay: Up to 200.00 per day
