We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of packages and goods to various locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage time effectively to ensure all deliveries are completed efficiently.

Duties

Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries. Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and delivery times. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation. Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience driving vehicles is advantageous. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Experience in warehouse operations is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25kg) safely. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and time management.
