This is a Tuesday - Saturday route - however if required Sunday - Thursday maybe possible

Christmas working due to start which means 6 days weeks - Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day off however all usual working days required as per usual

standard rate of pay or bonus scheme available

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires excellent driving skills, good communication, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with heavy lifting. Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations. Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting, with care to prevent damage or injury. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered. Maintain accurate records of deliveries made, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met. Assist in warehouse activities when required, including stock organisation and inventory management.

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, demonstrating safe driving practices. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; a driver qualification is preferred. Experience with commercial driving vehicles such as vans or lorries. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes. Good organisational skills for route planning and time management. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members. Prior warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential. Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role, including prolonged periods of driving and manual handling tasks.
