We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team at SDS. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to customer service and have experience in delivering goods efficiently and safely. This role involves navigating various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the integrity of the products being transported.

WEEKEND DRIVERS ONLY

YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE/WILLING TO COMPLETE A 2 DAY INITIAL CLASSROOM TRAINING ON A MONDAY AND TUESDAY - BOTH DAYS

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit. Follow delivery schedules and routes as assigned, adapting to any changes as necessary. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Requirements

Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred. Valid driving licence with less than 6 Points; experience driving a commercial vehicle is advantageous Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to perform lifting up to 25kg A proactive approach to problem-solving and time management skills are essential. Pay: 120.00-160.00 per day

Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week
