About Us:

Blockbusters is a leading provider of drainage and plumbing services throughout the Sout East of England, offering professional, reliable, and efficient solutions to a diverse range of clients. We take pride in our top-notch customer service and cutting-edge technology. We are now looking for someone to join our CCTV Survey/Ancillary Repair department to undertake a wide range of admirative duties. This role is office based in Lewes near Brighton and due to its semi rural location in the South Downs National Park you will need to drive/have a car.

Job Overview:

The role in the CCTV Survey/Ancillary repair department would involve multiple aspects of administration utilising MS Office Suite and also reviewing, interpreting, and processing CCTV survey data from drainage inspections undertaken. This is a vital role where you will help identify drainage issues and produce accurate reports for our clients. The ideal candidate would have a strong attention to detail, willing to learn and take in all aspects of training quickly.

Role would suit a candidate with excellent administration skills but knowledge of this industry is not essential.

The Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Process and analyse CCTV footage of drainage systems to identify blockages, defects, and other issues. Full training given both internal and external. Generate comprehensive reports based on CCTV survey findings, highlighting necessary remedial actions. Collaborate with field teams to ensure that surveys are conducted accurately and effectively. Provide clear updates to clients, explaining survey findings and any necessary next steps. Ensure all data is logged and stored in compliance with company procedures. Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of CCTV equipment as required. Assist the drainage engineering team with reporting and ad hoc tasks. Undertake scheduling of works for repairs teams and build jobs from initial contact through to the team undertaking the work on site. Ordering equipment, stock or supplies for repairs teams for sites. Liaising with Supervisors and Managers regarding both CCTV Surveys and Repairs. Raising invoices. Liaising with clients and other contractors.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Driving licence and car would be required to travel to our head office, due to our semi rural location. Strong administration skills essential especially MS Office Suite. Previous experience in CCTV survey processing or drainage inspections is desirable. Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate reports. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
