to join our growing team of drainage engineers. You'll be working alongside our other service engineers across a large number of our commercial clients across the North West, the Midlands & North Wales.
This is a fully remote role and requires a full UK driving licence.
The ideal candidate will have previous drainage experience and will be familiar with surveying drainage networks, hold the Pipe Sewer Condition Classification to MSCC5 (OS19X) qualification, be familiar with word, excel and PDF editing, have GPS data logging knowledge (though not essential), be able to carry out Manhole Surveys and carry out high-pressure water jetting tasks.
Ideally you will hold the relevant competencies, but where training gaps are evident or where refresher courses are needed, full support and training will be provided.
This role will support the effective, efficient, and safe delivery of our client services by attending client sites to conduct planned and reactive maintenance.

Hours & Location of Work:
Main location
- this is a fully remote role covering the North West, the Midlands & North Wales.
Regular hours of work
- Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.30pm -
42.5 hour working week.
Whilst this is our company standard working week, our client requires "out of hours" work in the form of an on call rota so occasional early starts/late finishes and weekend working is to be expected.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Essential:
Minimum experience of 2 years as a Drainage CCTV engineer (Rig Manager)
Pipe Sewer Condition Classification to MSCC5 (OS19X) qualification
Minimum 2 years' drainage experience
Working knowledge of drainage systems
Working knowledge of unblocking drainage systems
Confident problem solver
Excellent communication skills
Sound understanding and experience of meeting Health & Safety obligations
Familiar with word, excel and PDF editing

Responsibilities include:
Working on commercial and industrial sites, leading a small team carrying out drain surveys, creating detailed drainage plans, GPS data logging, carrying out Manhole Surveys and problem solving.
Providing accurate timesheet information to designated timeframes
Supporting contract teams with meeting SLA's by attending client premises within the required time frame
Supporting Thermatic with maintaining positive client relationships through on-site interactions with representatives and client customers
Assisting office-based staff by providing accurate and good quality information for any further works quotations.
Producing technical and situational reports as required
Escalating any major site issues or incidents via the appropriate channel and within acceptable timeframes
Supporting the training and upskilling of junior drainage engineers
