We are seeking a reliable and skilled

Drainage Engineer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with domestic and commercial drainage systems, including CCTV surveys, patch lining, drain unblocking, and small-scale drainage installations. This role involves diagnosing drainage issues, performing repairs, and delivering high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct CCTV Drainage Surveys

Operate CCTV survey equipment to inspect drainage systems Identify faults, blockages, structural issues, and root intrusions Produce clear and accurate survey reports for clients

Drain Unblocking & Maintenance

Clear blockages using high-pressure water jetting and mechanical equipment Diagnose the cause of repeated blockages and advise on long-term solutions Perform routine maintenance to ensure the efficient operation of drainage systems

Patch Line Repairs

Install cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) patch liners Locate defects and complete sectional lining repairs Ensure repairs meet industry standards for integrity and durability

Small-Scale Drainage Installations

Install ACO channels, gullys, and other surface drainage components Carry out minor excavation where required Connect new installations into existing drainage systems safely and accurately

Customer Communication & Reporting

Communicate findings, repair options, and recommendations to clients Complete job sheets and documentation in a clear and timely manner Maintain a high level of professionalism on-site

Requirements

Experience in drainage engineering or a similar role Proficiency with CCTV survey equipment and drainage tools Knowledge of patch lining and drainage repair methods Ability to install small-scale drainage systems (e.g., ACO drains, gullys) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Full UK driving licence (if applicable to your region) Good customer service and communication skills

Pay: 33,000.00-40,000.00 per year
