Are you a civil engineer with a passion for drainage and a knack for problem-solving? Our client, a dynamic and growing consultancy, is looking for a Drainage Engineer to join their team and play a key role in shaping infrastructure across the residential sector.
This is a fantastic role for someone with around 2 years post graduate experience, ready to take the next step in their career. You'll be involved in drainage design, Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs), and working on real, impactful residential developments. Your work will help shape communities - one culvert, gully, and attenuation basin at a time.
The role:

  • Designing drainage systems for residential developments
  • Producing and reviewing Flood Risk Assessments
  • Liaising with Lead Local Flood Authorities (LLFAs)
  • Navigating section agreements (38, 104, 106)
  • Using MicroDrainage or Flow to bring your designs to life
About you:
  • 2 years' postgrad experience in drainage or civil engineering
  • Comfortable with drainage design software
  • Previous experience in the residential sector is a plus
  • Strong understanding of UK drainage regulations and approvals
On offer is a competitive salary and you will join a collaborative and supportive team, where you will be offered real project ownership and professional development.
If you're detail-driven, tech-savvy, and ready to engineer better living spaces, this is your chance to make a real impact.
Send your CV to Graham Ventham at Conrad Consulting to be considered.
