Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Drainage Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining drainage systems to ensure effective water management By keeping lines flowing and debris free.

Working with high pressure machinery to unblock / clean drainage.

Work with CCTV surveillance cameras to identify Drainage issue.

Good confident communication skills.

Be able to work out of hours in case of emergencies.

This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, as well as hands-on skills in various tools and techniques related to drainage work.

Duties



Design and develop drainage systems that meet regulatory standards and environmental considerations. Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing drainage conditions and identify potential improvements. Install, maintain, and repair drainage systems using appropriate materials and techniques Operate hand tools, power tools efficiently. Collaborate with other engineers and contractors to ensure project specifications are met. Be able to report back to clients/ Manager of issues identified Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation and maintenance of drainage systems. Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and project timelines. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all phases of operation work.

Skills



Proficient in High Pressure Water Jetting used for unblocking drainage. Experience in CCTV Surveillance operation Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience with plumbing systems relevant to drainage applications. Competence in using hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations. Carpentry skills for constructing supports or frameworks related to drainage installations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of physical labour requirements. A valid commercial driving licence is advantageous for transporting materials or equipment when necessary. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.00-18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
