Aquevo is seeking a qualified and experienced Drainage Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of drainage systems for both commercial and domestic properties. Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct site surveys to assess drainage and water flow requirements.
Repair, and maintain drainage systems including pipes, gutters, manholes, and underground systems. Patch and Lining repairs.
Conduct CCTV drainage surveys and diagnose potential issues.
Clear blockages, repair leaks, and perform preventative maintenance.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as jetting machines and excavation tools.
Work with a variety of materials including plastic, concrete, and metal pipes.
Operate tankers and pumps for drainage solutions and surface/foul water management.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure compliance on all projects.
Drive commercial vehicles to transport tools, equipment, and materials.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Drainage Engineer or in a similar role.
Proficiency in using drainage and plumbing tools and equipment.
Experience in reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications.
Basic mathematical skills for site measurements and calculations.
Familiarity with CCTV drain surveys and equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driving license with experience operating commercial vehicles.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCS card, Confined Space Training) are a plus.
