Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Drainage Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of drainage systems. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess both technical expertise and practical skills, ensuring that drainage solutions are efficient and effective.

Duties

Design and implement drainage systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Conduct site assessments to evaluate drainage needs and identify potential issues. Operate power tools and hand tools to install drainage components. Perform heavy lifting as required during installation processes. Assemble and weld drainage systems using appropriate techniques. Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to drainage design. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all operations.

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in drainage engineering or a related field. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of the installation process. Experience in commercial driving is advantageous but not essential. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Skills in cctv and Jetwashing required Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
