Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drainage Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, and cleaning residential drainage systems across various sites. This role requires a practical mindset, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Duties

Conduct site assessments to determine drainage requirements and identify potential issues Install new drainage systems using appropriate tools and techniques Repair and maintain existing drainage infrastructure, ensuring compliance with safety standards Utilise HPWJ using van pack jetters and rodding. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently during installation and repair tasks Perform heavy lifting when handling materials or equipment necessary for drainage projects Collaborate with colleagues on complex tasks such unblocking drains and system integration Conduct routine inspections to ensure system integrity and functionality Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials utilised Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during site operations

Qualifications

Proven experience in drainage engineering, plumbing, or related fields Must have WJA certification and CSCS card. Proficiency with using Van Pack drain Jetters Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to drainage systems and infrastructure Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and technical drawings Experience with commercial driving is desirable but not essential Familiarity with assembly processes related to drainage components Good organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and undertake physically demanding tasks
