Summary
We are seeking a CCTV lead surveyor & assistant join our team. Based in our newly established operating base in Shipton Bellinger near Amesbury.. This role involves the working as part of a team working on drainage survey & remediation works.
NB the pay rates shown are normal day rates. The working hours shall be predominantly at night and therefore subject to a 30% uplift. Some working away from home may be required.
This Role will be operating our CCTV survey camera vans. Working as part of a team operating our high specification survey equipment, you will support our client across the UK carrying out surveys on highway drainage systems where necessary.
This is a permanent full-time position and can be based across the Midlands or South of the country operating out of depots in Telford and Amesbury. Albeit, from time to time you may be required to work away from home in other regions of the country.
You will be allocated a works vehicle. You will be responsible for the general cleanliness and safe keeping of the vehicle.
You will be required to undertake daily inspections of the vehicle reporting any defects.
Principal Duties
As the Lead CCTV surveyor you will be fully responsible for the vehicle and all survey equipment
You will be responsible for the safe operation of the cctv survey works whilst working on site. Special consideration must be given to working alongside colleagues/clients/general public.
You will be working closely in a team of 2 operating high specification CCYV survey unit.
Liaising with clients and internal teams to report findings and recommend solutions relating to the reporting of defects etc
Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Performing routine checks and basic maintenance on CCTV equipment and vehicles.
Other Responsibilities
Monitor the safety of your activities & operations, company safe working practices, employee welfare and the environmental impact associated with the works being undertaken.
Monitor the works and ensure that all shift reports are submitted in accordance with scheme requirements.
Ensure that you wear all of the necessary PPE and this is kept in a good condition. This must be replaced if it becomes worn or damaged.
Ensure that you comply with all recognised safe working practices during works.
Ensure that you have seen and been briefed on all site-specific risk assessments and method statements prior to any site works being undertaken.
Ensure that you attend all pre-shift briefings.
Ensure that you adhere to all company H&S requirements
Ensure that you adhere to all company Drug and alcohol policies.
Ensure your relevant competencies are kept up to date by liaising with HR department.

Qualifications & Training
Valid & full driving license with no more than 6 points
Valid CSCS/CPCS card. (Mandatory)
Safety Critical Medical (optional).
OS19X trained (Mandatory)
Confined space trained (Desired)
First Aid certificate (optional).
Experience in drainage or utilities work (Mandatory).
National Highways Passport Holder (Optional)
