Operations Manager
to join our team and oversee the smooth and efficient delivery of our services.
Role Overview
As Operations Manager, you will take responsibility for the day to day management of our field engineers and office support teams. You will ensure the efficient scheduling of work, effective resource allocation, and full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. This is a hands on leadership role, requiring strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, reactive service environment.
The ideal candidate will also be proficient in processing camera reports from
Win Can
and able to support our reporting and data processing department as required.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate field engineers and office support staff.
Oversee job scheduling, resource allocation, and equipment management.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and industry regulations.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including completion rates, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Lead and motivate teams, ensuring high standards of performance and safety.
Maintain strong client relationships and uphold excellent service standards.
Manage budgets, operational costs, and reporting for senior management.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
Assist with the processing and review of CCTV camera reports (Win Can) and providing quotations with recommendations.
Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in operations management, ideally within
drainage, utilities, or construction services
.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of drainage systems and health & safety compliance.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Financial and commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets and operational reports.
IT literate (including
BigChange
and Microsoft Office Suite).
Full UK driving licence (essential).
