Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Drama Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in performing arts and/or teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate individuals to achieve their personal best. This role involves working with Key Stage 2 children in an after school club environment, exploring different Drama games, working on script writing and performing short plays

Duties

Design and implement drama sessions tailored to the needs of individual children and teams. Provide expert guidance on techniques, strategies, and skills. Monitor children's progress and offer constructive feedback to enhance performance. Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among participants. Organise and lead sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other staff members regarding progress and development. Stay updated on the latest performing arts coaching techniques to continually improve coaching methods.

Experience

Proven experience in performing arts or teaching is essential. A passion for performance, including strategies, and techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Ability to work well with individuals of varying skill levels and backgrounds. A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that encourages growth and development.
