This is a really unique and special role at Northern Performance Academy. We are looking for a professional person who is driven, creative, confident and committed. You will play an instrumental role, alongside our founder/CEO, in planning, implementing and delivering our ambitious vision for the future of the NPA Group.

Firstly, you will need to be an incredible

Performing Arts Teacher

, creating magic and wonder in the studio to help students become confident, competent and creative thinkers. Secondly, you will need to be an articulate and

Confident Communicator;

in-person, online and on camera. Thirdly, you will need to have a good understanding of

Core Business Principles;

sales, managing budgets and financial awareness for sustainability, PR and marketing, recruitment processes, data-driven and ethical decision-making, evaluating impact, seeking feedback, and turning insight into continuous improvement.

Lastly, we are looking for someone who's just lovely! Great personality, positive attitude, super sense of humour and fun, willing to do everything asked and lead by example - plus, driven to acheive goals and be rewarded for that along the way.

Your Starring Role



TEACHING - You'll be the creative force behind lessons that pulse with energy, expression, and excitement. From powerful monologues to expressive movement and musical exploration, you'll guide students to take risks, find their voice, and shine.

Encouraging fearless creative expression through

drama, music, dance, and performance; an environment that feels electric, challenging and nurturing at the same time.

Spotting potential, celebrating progress, and offering

uplifting feedback that builds confidence - feeding back to parents and reporting on a child's individual journey.

Motivating new students and helping them feel welcomed into a place where their nerves melt into excitement and

every student feels safe to step into the spotlight.

Collaborating with fellow creatives to dream up

bold ideas, exciting resources, and unforgettable performance ideas in film, multi-media and live theatre.


BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - You will be

working closely with the CEO

, to ensure planned new initiatives take off and bring our vision to life. Tasks will be varied and may involve

booking talent

,

administration

skills,

creating content

for social media,

curating events,

hosting and setting up

meetings

, studio development,

training staff

, customer service, brain-storming,

researching & ordering

(eg costumes),

artist liaison

,

agency onboarding

and matching our clients with roles, creative problem-solving and meeting

targets

Who We're Looking For



You might be a seasoned performer-turned-teacher or an educator with a flair for creativity and a knowledge of how the arts can shape a person -- either way, if you believe in the power of the arts, and you think you are ambitious, have a vareity of skills to offer and are passionately creative yourself, we want to hear from you.

You'll bring:

A Relevant Degree/Qualification or Extensive Professional Experience in the Entertainment Industry

Teacher Status (QTS/EYTS)

or another recognised teaching qualification would be advantageous. A specialism in

Performing Arts; Drama, Music, or Dance

A

contagious passion and positive attitude

for the arts, performance prep and a belief that creativity can change lives. The confidence to command a room, inspire an audience, and connect with students of all abilities and ages in groups or 1-1. Classroom management experience is very important. A

flexible, imaginative teaching style

that helps every learner find their moment to shine and promotes creativity. Innovative ideas, artistic flair and an ability to turn your hand to most things.
