Drama Kids (previously Helen O'Grady Drama Academy) has been established for over 40 years and with more than 100,000 children around the world being inspired week-in, week-out, it is undoubtedly the worlds largest Drama Academy!



Drama Kids Sheffield has been running for over 20 years are we are now looking for vibrant and passionate teachers to bring our curriculum to their students!



Requirements:



Position to start Saturday 10th January 2026.



A qualification in Performing Arts is desirable. An ability to engage and inspire children to be themselves through Drama whilst working to the Academy's award-winning curriculum Experience working with children either in a school setting or through extra-curricular activities is desirable. Good organisational skills and prompt timekeeping are essential. Must be available to teach classes during school term times only. Must have a valid drivers license and own transport. Hold an up-to-date DBS check on the update system. If not held be willing to obtain

Duties:



Provide fun-filled lessons in line with the Drama Kids Academy curriculum and lesson plans during school term-times Classes held every Saturday morning, 10 am-12 noon Retain and increase class sizes Inspiring children of all backgrounds aged 5-11 and 12-17 Build relationships with students and their parents Respond initially to parents' queries and difficulties in class Liaise with Principal as necessary and attend catch-up meetings as required Distribute information to parents, schools and other organisations as required Collect fees from parents Update information for reports requested by Principal as required Attend training seminars Maintain requirements for Safeguarding, Data Protection and Insurance at all times
This position is for classes based in Nether Edge, Saturday mornings, 10 am-12 noon

Starting Pay is 15 per hour for training then 18 once fully up and running and no further training required. Position will be on a self employed basis.
