CBS Precast is a trusted leader in the design, supply, and installation of precast concrete flooring systems and staircases across the UK. We're a long-established company with a strong pipeline of exciting projects - and we're now looking for a Draughtsman/women / Designer to join our growing team!

What You'll Be Doing

As our new Draughtsman/woman / Designer, you'll work closely with engineers, architects, and site teams to design:

Hollowcore flooring systems Beam & block floor layouts Precast concrete staircases
Your tasks will include:

Producing detailed technical drawings from architectural/engineer plans Managing design projects from order to site delivery Generating material requisitions, schedules, and beam lists Collaborating with commercial and installation teams to resolve issues Communicating updates and changes during the design process

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is technically skilled, detail-oriented, and a great communicator.

Essential:

Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel Strong understanding of construction drawings Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Desirable:

Knowledge of AutoFloor software Experience in precast concrete or structural design Familiarity with the design-to-installation process
